A one-of-a-kind event, the 360 Film Festival sits at the crossroads of creation and technique. Built around the main topic of SATIS (Innovation For Creation), the event includes a competition and two days of screenings open to all visitors during the event.
In just three editions, the 360 Film Festival has become an essential event for immersive content. The steady increase in content submissions from all around the world is a clear sign that professionals are attracted to this new showcase for new formats.
In 2018, by opening its doors to additional immersive formats – augmented reality and large formats –, the event let the public see exclusive previews of new creations and new talents, with over a dozen exclusives across all formats. The festival selected 85 programs from 22 countries and had 14 screenings over two days.
Call for content
The 360 Film Festival has given awards to 24 international creations. The winning programs illustrate the event’s diversity, but also its strong focus on creativity. Authors, producers, distributors, and broadcasters attend the event, presenting indie content as well as productions from Arte or even Google.
The 360 Film Festival’s fourth edition continues to innovate, giving out new awards and highlighting not only authors but also technique, which other festivals often overlook.
This new strategy is in line with SATIS’ goal to recognize creation and innovation!
Experiences in VR, AR, and large formats that tell engaging stories with a high level of technical performance were presented and rewarded at last year’s SATIS-Screen4ALL, at the Docks de Paris on November 5 and 6, 2018.
